Just wanted to check in with another update to keep you all informed of little Alana's progress. She is currently 9 months old and starting to do more and more tricks. She now has 6 teeth and likes to bite people with them. She used to really hate being on her stomach, but she is now starting to accept that it's part of life. This has led to her rolling all over the place, but she's not out of control quite yet. A simple toy or pillow or cat can stop her progress, and that typically leads to a lot of whining about being stuck. She can also scoot herself backwards, but the frontwards part just isn't clicking yet...
She has really taken to baby food, and would rather have beef and veggies than a bottle, but that bottle is where she gets all her nutrients so she can't have everything she wants. She sits on her own and likes to hang out and play with all her toys on the floor. She loves music, shaking her head "no", making lots of noise, and most of all hanging out with mommy and daddy.
We're stil batting 1000 on her being the perfect child. She doesn't care who's around or who's holding her, she's always happy. We cherish every moment we spend with her.
